11 detained in DAESH operation in İzmir
As part of an investigation conducted by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into DAESH, 11 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody in the Menemen district.

DAESH As part of investigations into the armed terrorist organization, the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued detention warrants for 11 individuals identified as engaging in organizational activities in Menemen. In the operation carried out at the designated addresses, 11 people were apprehended and taken into custody. It was reported that a large number of digital materials and organizational documents were seized during the searches.
It was determined that the 11 individuals taken into custody were in contact with suspects apprehended in an operation conducted on May 18, 2024.
