The hotel fire case has extended to the Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, which is owned by the business owner Halit Ergül—who was arrested as part of the investigation—due to the presence of similar instances of negligence.
It has been learned that 11 people were detained from the Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, owned by Halit Ergül, by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office due to the same instances of negligence.
Grand Hotel accounting staff Cemal Özer and Mehmet Salun, Gazelle Hotel General Manager Ahmet Demir, Gazelle Hotel technical staff Kadir Çelik and Tahsin Pekcan, Grand Kartal Hotel technical staff Murat Duman and Gürkan Oskan, Grand Hotel technical staff Bayram Utku and Bahadır Bahar, Mudurnu Enerji A.Ş. Chairman of the Board İbrahim Polat, and Mudurnu Enerji A.Ş. Deputy Chairman of the Board İsmail Karagöz have been detained.
Four staff members working at the Gazelle Resort and Spa Hotel, whose names could not be learned, were brought to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie were completed.
The individuals were taken to the prosecutor's office by gendarmerie teams through the parking lot at the back of the courthouse.
