11 suspects apprehended in ISIS operation in İzmir
11 suspects were taken into custody during an operation targeting the terrorist organization ISIS in İzmir.

Under the coordination of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Counter-Terrorism Branch, Intelligence Branch, the Counter-Terrorism Department, and the MIT (National Intelligence Organization) conducted simultaneous operations at 13 addresses in İzmir targeting 13 suspects identified as being within the ISIS armed terrorist organization.
While teams took 11 suspects into custody, a large number of digital materials and 4 banned publications were seized during the searches.
It was learned that efforts to apprehend the remaining 2 suspects are ongoing.
