11-year-old child found dead with gunshot wound to the head in Arnavutköy
An 11-year-old child who was home alone in Arnavutköy was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. It is alleged that the child was shot with his father's licensed firearm.

The incident occurred around 19:00 in an apartment located on Yiğitoğlu Street in the Yunus Emre neighborhood.
FATHER DISCOVERED THE LIFELESS BODY
According to allegations, 11-year-old Efe Ö., who was home alone, was found by his family with a gunshot wound to the head. The father, who had returned from outside and discovered his son's lifeless body, reported the situation to police teams.
FATHER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Efe Ö. had lost his life. While crime scene investigation teams conducted examinations in the apartment, Efe Ö.'s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue following the investigations by the prosecutor and police teams.
While police teams continue their work regarding the incident, the father, who owns the weapon, has been taken into custody.
