12-year-old child falls from city walls and loses her life
A 12-year-old girl has lost her life after falling from the city walls in Diyarbakır. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Zeynep Nursima Tümen, who had come to visit with her family from Van, lost her balance and fell after climbing the city walls.
Upon notification by bystanders, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Zeynep Nursima was taken to Dicle University Hospital following initial intervention by medical personnel. The 12-year-old Tümen, who was taken under treatment there, could not be saved despite all efforts by doctors.
Zeynep Nursima’s body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
