Özdağ described the fact that the decision was taken on March 13 as a remarkable coincidence, emphasizing that this is the day Mustafa Kemal entered the Military Academy and the day when cadets shouted "1283 is within us."

Similarly, Özdağ stated that March 13 is a date that carries meaning not only within the cadets but also within the Zafer Party and the Turkish nation.

Regarding Ebru Eroğlu's dismissal, Özdağ criticized the fact that officers who say "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" are dismissed from the TSK, even though terrorist organizations are allowed to demonstrate freely.

Özdağ stated that the reputation of the TSK and the state is damaged by situations such as negotiating with terrorism and allowing separatist rallies, adding that saying "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" expresses a great truth rather than damaging the reputation of the TSK.

DETAILS OF THE CASE AGAINST EBRU EROĞLU

Ebru Eroğlu was dismissed from the TSK for chanting the slogan "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" at the Military Academy graduation ceremony on August 30, 2024. Subsequently, the application filed by Eroğlu against this decision at the Ankara 4th Administrative Court was rejected on March 13. Özdağ stated that the case will be moved to the appellate stage.
