14 students attending various schools in Kozan were admitted to Kozan State Hospital in the evening with complaints of abdominal pain and nausea.

It was alleged that the students had purchased çiğ köfte (raw meatball) from one business and ayran (yogurt drink) from another.

Following the students' admission to the hospital with complaints of abdominal pain and nausea, teams from the Kozan District Directorate of Agriculture took samples of the çiğ köfte and ayran and launched an investigation.

The students were treated as outpatients and discharged, and it was learned that their blood test results came back clear.
