14-year-old child kills substance-addicted father
In Gaziantep, a 14-year-old girl stabbed her substance-addicted father to death while he was sleeping.

The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a house in the Ocaklar neighborhood of the Şahinbey district. According to allegations, a 14-year-old girl identified as S.Y. stabbed her father, 35-year-old İbrahim Y., who was a substance addict, in various parts of his body while he was asleep for an unknown reason. The father was critically injured in the knife attack.
FATHER LOST HIS LIFE
Medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification determined that the critically injured man had lost his life. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for burial after the procedures at the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute were completed.
CHILD TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The 14-year-old girl, who is alleged to have carried out the knife attack, was taken into custody by teams from the juvenile branch office accompanied by a psychologist. It was learned that the procedures for the teenage suspect in custody are ongoing.
A comprehensive investigation into the incident is continuing.
