15 club executives released under judicial control: Betting match-fixing investigation

Within the scope of the betting match-fixing investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 2 of the 17 suspects referred to the courthouse were released after their statements at the prosecutor's office, while the 15 suspects referred to the duty magistrate judge were released under judicial control conditions.

The statement procedures at the prosecutor's office for 17 suspects, whose police procedures were completed within the scope of the betting match-fixing investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, have been concluded.

Within the scope of the investigation, Tolga Kırgız, Kerem Gürel, Ünsal Yamaner, Savaş Tatil, and Özgür Durşen were referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for arrest. While it was requested that judicial control measures in the form of house arrest be applied to Halil İbrahim Yavaş, Hüseyin Gözütok, Avni Akdemir, and Maruf Güneş, it was requested that judicial control measures in the form of a travel ban be applied to Ahmet Akçelik, Ali Gürsoy, Sezgin Özkan, Kemal Aydın, Ömer Çetin, and Barış Orhun Bilge.

Following their statements at the prosecutor's office, Ali Şen and Murat Şabablı were released.

The duty magistrate judge decided to release all 15 referred suspects under judicial control provisions, including those for whom arrest was requested, by imposing house arrest.
