The 15 million TL Ferrari that was totaled by an auto mechanic in an accident continues to be a hot topic. The mechanic, who had to take responsibility for the uninsured vehicle, sold the car to a football player for 7 million TL.

Yılmaz transferred the Ferrari to Sercan Türk, an amateur football player, for 7 million TL. Stating that he bought the vehicle as a hobby, Türk said, "Even though it is damaged, this vehicle is very valuable. We are thinking of repairing it with our own means and using it; we have no intention of selling it."

"WE ARE CONCERNED WITH PAYING OUR CUSTOMER BACK"

Auto mechanic Hakan Yılmaz said, "There were quite a few people interested in the vehicle. There were those who wanted to buy it. We had already purchased the vehicle ourselves. We are concerned with selling the vehicle as soon as possible, making up the difference, and paying our customer back. We sold the vehicle for 7 million TL; I have an apartment in my name. I will sell that and borrow money from a few places. In this way, we will resolve our customer's grievance."

"WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF SELLING"

Türk expressed the following: "We saw on social media that the vehicle was involved in an accident. I reached out to Hakan master via social media. We conveyed that we wanted to buy it if he was going to sell it. I have a friend named Veysel who is very close. He deals with these things more. We had a conversation among ourselves. We said, if we buy this vehicle, can we restore it to its former state? He told me that we could do it. It is already a vehicle with a very high market value. Honestly, our main goal is to be able to drive a car with such a high market value for a low price. My profession is playing football. This is a bit of a hobby for me. So, restoring it from its current state to a new state is becoming a source of happiness for us, frankly. We are thinking of repairing the vehicle with our own means and driving it. We have no intention of selling it."
