15-year-old Muhammed K., who worked as an apprentice at a carpentry workshop in Şanlıurfa, has died as a result of the torture he was subjected to at his workplace.

In an incident that occurred on November 15 in the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa, Muhammed K., who worked as an apprentice at a carpentry workshop, was incapacitated after his hands were tied by a journeyman named Habip Aksoy and another individual whose identity has not yet been determined. Subsequently, high-pressure air from a compressor was forced into the child's rectum, causing him severe injuries.
The severely injured Muhammed K. was taken to Bozova Mehmet Enver Yıldırım State Hospital after receiving initial medical intervention from emergency teams at the scene. Due to the severity of his condition, the youth was transferred to Balıklıgöl State Hospital and subsequently to Harran University Research and Application Hospital, where he was placed in intensive care. However, despite all medical interventions, he could not be saved due to severe damage to his internal organs and passed away this morning.
Habip Aksoy, who was detained following the incident, was initially released under judicial control. However, following reactions on social media and from the victim's family, a new arrest warrant was issued for him. Aksoy was apprehended while attempting to flee to Gaziantep and was subsequently arrested by the duty magistrate.
