In the Nizip district of Gaziantep, teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, coordinated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, conducted an investigation into suspects involved in the transport and trafficking of drugs.
During a search of a passenger bus stopped at a checkpoint on the Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa highway, teams used a detector dog to find 16.5 kilograms of drugs hidden inside a water heater.
Suspects Y.T.T. and M.G., who were detained by gendarmerie teams while waiting at the bus terminal to receive the drugs, were arrested by the court following their processing.
