16 immunity files at the Turkish Parliament: Özgür Özel and DEM Party Co-Chairs are also included!

New immunity files have been referred to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). 16 files, including those for CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları Oruç, have reached the Parliament. 

The Presidential Summaries regarding the Lifting of Legislative Immunity for 16 members of parliament have been submitted to the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

The summaries were referred by the Speaker's Office to the Joint Committee composed of members of the Constitutional and Justice Commissions.

The members of parliament whose files were referred to the Joint Committee are as follows:

Among the incoming summaries are 6 files for CHP Chairman Özel, 2 for CHP Group Deputy Chairman Başarır, 2 for TİP Istanbul MP Şık, 3 for Independent Istanbul MP Enginyurt, and 2 for DEM Party Şırnak MP İrmez.
