Adana Police Department seized 161 unlicensed weapons during a week-long operation.
The Public Security Branch Directorate conducted operations in many parts of the city to ensure the safety of life and property for citizens. During the operations carried out by the police between October 2 and October 8, 2023, 420 individuals were apprehended, while 2 stolen vehicles, 1 stolen electric bicycle, 21 stolen motorcycles, 126 unlicensed pistols, 13 blank-firing pistols, 22 unlicensed rifles, and 1,184 cartridges were seized, and 42 individuals were arrested for theft. Legal action was taken against 5 businesses for illegal gambling.
