Citizens performing the protest known as the "Standing Man," which was held during that period, were detained. The detained individuals were taken to the Vatan Police Headquarters for questioning.

Attorney Kerim Bütün from the Voice of Lawyers Initiative stated that they are standing with the detained individuals and used the following expressions:

"The young people wanted to stage a 'Standing Human' protest in front of the AKM. They were detained for standing. So much for advanced democracy."
