2 injured in 3-car accident

Two people were injured in a chain-reaction accident involving 3 vehicles in Ankara. Following the accident in Mamak, the injured were taken to the hospital, and the police have launched an investigation.

The accident occurred around 15:30 in the afternoon on Bostancık Street in the Mamak district. According to the information received, a moving car first hit a car exiting from in front of a cafe, and then struck a parked taxi. Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Two drivers determined to have been injured as a result of the accident were transported to the hospital, and it was learned that their condition is good. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.

Speaking about the accident, Oğuzhan Alıcı said, "I heard the sound of the accident. I saw the incident. Most likely, a driver was coming from the opposite lane. Another driver was pulling out with their car. When the incoming driver didn't notice them, the accident happened. The car coming from the opposite lane also hit the bumper of the taxi. I don't know the number of injured, but it was at least two people. An ambulance had arrived, police teams had arrived. They cleared the scene after that anyway."
