Following the instructions of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a nationwide operation was launched to apprehend suspects who allegedly 'made ugly and immoral remarks' on a social media platform about those who died in the fire in Kartalkaya, unlawfully shared personal data belonging to them and their relatives, and called their relatives to exploit their grief.

During the investigation, 3 people who made immoral remarks about those who lost their lives in the fire tragedy in Bolu via a social media platform they established were referred to the courthouse following their detention procedures.

Of the 3 suspects brought before the court, 2 were arrested, while 1 was released with a travel ban and judicial control conditions.

It was learned that the proceedings for 3 other individuals, who are considered to be the primary perpetrators of the incident, are continuing at the Juvenile Crimes Investigation Bureau due to their status as minors, under a detention extension order.
