An SF-260D training aircraft belonging to the Air Force Command crashed in Kayseri. The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 2 pilots were martyred.
Following the accident, many politicians shared messages of condolence.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu stated, "I wish God's mercy upon our pilots who were martyred as a result of the training aircraft crash in Kayseri, and I extend my condolences and patience to their families."
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu said, "I wish God's mercy upon our heroic pilots who were martyred as a result of the accident that occurred during a training flight in Kayseri, and I extend my condolences to our nation, especially their families. May their souls rest in peace and their place be in heaven."
