2-year-old baby loses life after being struck by construction vehicle
In the Darıca district of Kocaeli, a construction vehicle struck a mother and her two children as they attempted to cross the road. The 2-year-old baby lost her life in the accident, while the mother and the other child were injured.

In a tragic incident in the Darıca district of Kocaeli, a baby lost her life after being struck by a construction vehicle, while her mother and 3-year-old sibling were injured.
The incident occurred on Alkın Street in the Kazım Karabekir neighborhood. A construction vehicle driven by Sinan S. struck Ceylan Ş. (29) and her two children as they were attempting to cross the road.
Upon being notified, police and medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Medical examinations confirmed that 2-year-old Elis Ada Ş. had unfortunately lost her life. The injured Ceylan Ş. and her 3-year-old child, Gülbeyaz Ş., were transported to Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital.
While the body of Elis Ada Ş. was sent to the Gebze Forensic Medicine Institute morgue, the driver of the construction vehicle was taken into custody by police teams.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the injured child and Ceylan Ş., who is said to be pregnant, are in good condition.
