2025 EID AL-ADHA WEATHER FORECAST

This year, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated between June 6 and 9. June 5, which is the eve of the holiday, is accepted as a half-day public holiday.

The weather forecast is of great importance for those planning to spend the holiday outdoors. According to the seasonal forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology, sunny weather will generally prevail across Turkey, and temperatures will hover above seasonal averages.

WEATHER ACROSS TURKEY DURING EID AL-ADHA

According to meteorological reports, temperatures across Turkey between June 6 and 9 will be slightly above seasonal averages, hovering 1-2°C higher.

While temperatures are expected to be close to seasonal norms in the northern coasts of Marmara, the Black Sea, and the Eastern Mediterranean regions, air temperatures in the Central Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia regions may vary between 25-35°C.

Although the probability of precipitation is generally low during the holiday, local thunderstorms may be seen in the inner parts of the Black Sea and the eastern regions of Eastern Anatolia and Central Anatolia. Winds will blow at light to moderate speeds, while humidity levels will vary between 60-80% in coastal regions and 30-50% in inland areas.

ISTANBUL EID AL-ADHA WEATHER FORECAST 2025

The average temperature in Istanbul in June is around 26°C. Temperatures are expected to be between 25-27°C throughout Eid al-Adha.

Sunny weather will generally prevail during the daytime; however, due to the humidity level being at 60-80%, the temperature may feel higher. Although there is a possibility of short-term showers, it is generally predicted that conditions will be suitable for outdoor activities in Istanbul during the holiday.

ANKARA EID AL-ADHA WEATHER FORECAST

Temperatures in Ankara are estimated to be in the 25-27°C range during Eid al-Adha.

At night, a coolness of around 14-16°C may be experienced. While local showers may be seen in the eastern regions of Central Anatolia, sunny weather will generally prevail in the city center of Ankara.

The average temperature in Izmir in June is around 30°C.
