Following the decision of absolute nullity, the Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu administration, which was brought to the CHP chairmanship, has now taken a new decision regarding overseas organization after the changes in provincial leadership.

Journalist Nevşin Mengü stated in a post on her social media account, "The 'null and void' administration has revoked the CHP authorization certificate belonging to the Belgium Union, which represents the CHP in Belgium."

BELGIUM UNION'S AUTHORIZATION CERTIFICATE REVOKED

In a statement published under the signature of Semra Dinçer, the CHP Deputy Chair responsible for Overseas Organization, it was stated that the "Union Establishment Authorization Certificates" previously granted to the Belgium Overseas Union were revoked on the grounds that the union acted in violation of the party's regulations.

The statement included the following expressions:

"Due to acting in violation of the rule stated in Article 4 of our Party's Overseas Unions Regulation, which requires that 'All activities be carried out under the coordination, guidance, and supervision of the Deputy Chairmanship responsible for Overseas Organization';

It has been decided at the Central Executive Board meeting dated 30/06/2026 to revoke the 'Union Establishment Authorization Certificates' granted to the Belgium Overseas Union (Union belge de Solidarité du CHP - CHP Belgium Union) in accordance with Articles 3/1, 3/4, and 5/1 of the Regulation or by any other MYK decision; furthermore, to terminate the authority of the entity operating in Belgium under the name 'Union belge de Solidarité du CHP' to represent the Republican People's Party;

Therefore, we request that your Union, which no longer has the authority to represent the Republican People's Party as of the date of this notification, refrain from acting to the contrary; and we inform you that we will resort to legal means if you continue to use the name CHP (Republican People's Party), for which the trademark registration in EU countries belongs to our Party.

Sincerely.
