Detention orders have been issued for 29 people regarding the electrical leakage tragedy that caused the deaths of two people during heavy rainfall in İzmir.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the matter.
Tunç pointed out that the investigation into the tragedy that occurred in the Konak district of İzmir is ongoing.
Tunç stated that detention orders were issued for 29 individuals.
Making statements via the social media platform X, Tunç used the following expressions:
"The judicial investigation initiated by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of 2 people who were electrocuted while trying to take shelter from heavy rainfall in the Konak district of İzmir is being carried out meticulously. Within the scope of the investigation, detention orders have been issued for 29 people identified as responsible for the incident according to the preliminary expert report."
