29 irregular migrants apprehended off the coast of Ayvacık
Coast Guard teams apprehended 29 irregular migrants, including children, in a rubber boat off the coast of Ayvacık, Çanakkale.

A group of irregular migrants in a rubber boat was detected off the coast of Ayvacık by the Coast Guard Mobile Radar (MORAD-8). Teams from the Coast Guard North Aegean Group Command were dispatched to the area. A total of 29 irregular migrants, 12 of whom were children, were apprehended in the rubber boat, which was intercepted while in motion by the Coast Guard boat 'KB-119'.
Following the processing of their paperwork, the irregular migrants were transferred to the Ayvacık Migrant Pre-Reception and Referral Center (GÖKSEM).
