3 children missing in Mersin since the first day of the holiday!

Three children, two aged 16 and one aged 13, have been missing in Mersin since the first day of Ramadan Bayram. Security camera footage recorded the children entering and leaving the home of their mother, Emine P., in the Nusratiye neighborhood on April 10, the last time they were seen.

According to the information received, 13-year-old İ.E.K. and his 16-year-old sister N.K., who live in the Çay neighborhood, and their 16-year-old cousin M.P., who lives in the Nusratiye neighborhood, left their homes on the first day of Ramadan Bayram.

The family, who were busy with funeral arrangements for their grandfather, realized after a while that the children were missing. After their own search efforts in the surrounding area yielded no results, the family contacted security forces. They are continuing to search for their children in the city center as well as in different cities by following up on tips.

''THE EMOTIONS WE ARE FEELING ARE INDESCRIBABLE''

16-year-old M.P.'s mother, Emine P., stated that they have not found any trace of the children since the first day of the holiday, saying, "We lost their grandfather on the first day of the holiday. The emotions we are feeling right now are indescribable. There is no place we haven't searched or asked. We reported it to the police and the Child Protection Bureau. There is no trace, we cannot find them. If they regret leaving, my daughter can call me. I will go and get them myself. They shouldn't be afraid of anyone. We are all devastated," she said.

Older brother Beytullah P. also said that they are searching for his siblings everywhere.

Stating that they examined the security camera footage recorded as they entered and left their home, Beytullah P. said, "They changed their clothes and left the house. Our family is devastated. We are looking for them everywhere," he said.

''WE ARE WAITING FOR NEWS FROM THEM''

Mother Saadet K., who has not heard from her two children, made an appeal to them, saying, "We love them very much, we want them to return home as soon as possible. We don't know if my children were 'kidnapped or if they left on their own.' I hope nothing has happened to them. We applied to the police. They have started working, but we would be very happy if they could speed it up a bit. We are waiting for news from them. We want anyone who hears or sees them to report it to the police. If they can hear us, I beg them to return home," she said.

Muhammet K., whose two siblings are missing, also stated that they have been searching for his siblings everywhere since the moment they first heard the news. Expressing that they did not believe they were missing at first, Muhammet K. said, "We are afraid that something might have happened to them. We spread the news to almost all of Mersin. We drove around and searched all of Mersin. Then news came that they were in Şanlıurfa and Osmaniye. As a family, we spread out to almost all of Turkey. We are waiting for news. We are waiting for the smallest detail just to know what state they are in. We miss them so much. If they have the slightest opportunity, let them give us news. That is what we want," he said.
