The Şişli District Governorship has announced that all types of meetings, marches, and press statements are prohibited in the district for three days.

According to the written statement issued by the District Governorship, it was determined that certain non-governmental organizations and groups had made calls for unauthorized demonstrations on social media. Therefore, it was reported that such activities will not be permitted for a temporary period in order to maintain public order and prevent potential negative incidents.

The statement included the following remarks:

"It has been determined that various marginal groups are making preparations to organize unauthorized demonstrations in the Şişli district by coordinating on social media platforms. Unauthorized actions and press statements by these groups, which are attempting to organize to disrupt the peace of our city and our fellow citizens, will not be permitted. In this context, all types of meetings, demonstrations, and press statements in our Şişli district have been banned by the Şişli District Governorship between March 9-11."
