3 new members to be elected to RTÜK in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
Today, the election of 3 new members to the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) will be held in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly will elect 3 members to the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) today.
The elections will be held for one membership seat each allocated to the AKP, CHP, and Green Left Party quotas.
The AKP has nominated current RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin and Hayri Genç, while the CHP has submitted the names of current member İlhan Taşcı and Ali Taştan. The Green Left Party has nominated Necdet İpekyüz and Abbas Kılıçoğlu as candidates for RTÜK membership.
One of the two candidates nominated by each party will be elected as an RTÜK member.
