3 people had been detained: New development in the operation at Bolu Municipality
Three people who were detained following an investigation conducted by gendarmerie teams at the Bolu Municipal building yesterday morning have been referred to the courthouse.

As part of an investigation into 'extortion by coercion' conducted last month, Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan and Deputy Mayor Süleyman Can were arrested and sent to prison. The extensive search operation launched by gendarmerie teams at the municipal building at the first light of dawn yesterday continues. While the gendarmerie has placed all computers and digital materials in the institution under examination, 3 people were detained.
Regarding the incident, CHP municipal council member Cihan Tutal, Financial Affairs Manager Naim Ayhan, and BOLSEV Foundation member Ali Sarıyıldız were detained. Naim Ayhan and Ali Sarıyıldız had previously been detained in connection with the investigation and were released after giving their statements. Gendarmerie teams completed their work at the municipal building, which lasted approximately 5 hours. Important documents and computers were taken to the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office by the teams in bags.

CHP municipal council member Cihan Tutal, Financial Affairs Manager Naim Ayhan, and BOLSEV Foundation member Ali Sarıyıldız, whose detention procedures were completed at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, were referred to the Bolu Courthouse.
