3 PKK/YPG terrorists neutralized in Syria and Iraq: Ministry of National Defense announces

The Ministry of National Defense reported that 3 PKK/YPG terrorists were neutralized in operations carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Syria and northern Iraq. The statement from the ministry emphasized that the fight against terrorism continues without interruption.

According to the statement, 2 PKK/YPG terrorists were neutralized in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria, and 1 PKK terrorist was neutralized in the Operation Claw-Lock region in northern Iraq. The ministry stated that the Mehmetçik (Turkish soldiers) will continue the fight with heroism and sacrifice.

Recently, the Turkish Armed Forces' counter-terrorism operations have been increasing. In northern Syria, particularly in areas where PKK/YPG elements are concentrated, the aim is to neutralize terrorists through air and ground operations conducted by security forces.

Furthermore, the ministry's statement provided information regarding measures taken against infiltration attempts by terrorists and ongoing intelligence efforts. Turkey will continue its fight against terrorism with determination to ensure regional security and enhance the security of its borders.

These operations, conducted for the safety of the public, are expected to contribute to the elimination of the terrorist threat. The Ministry of National Defense stated that security forces will continue their fight against terrorism with all their might.
