3 high school students who burned a photo of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk have been detained.

In Kayseri, footage of 3 high school students mocking Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and burning his photo became a trending topic on social media.

The Kayseri Governor's Office stated in its announcement, ''The individuals involved in the incident in question have been identified and detained, and judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated.''

The statement from the Kayseri Governor's Office is as follows:

''It has been determined that a video has been circulating on social media platforms regarding the incident of burning a photo of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, in Kayseri. The individuals involved in the incident in question have been identified and detained, and judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated. Respectfully announced to the public.''
