30 people referred for arrest in IMM operation: Arrest requested for 5 mayors
In the operations conducted against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), 30 people were referred to the judgeship with a request for arrest, while judicial control was requested for 6 individuals. Among the 30 people are 5 CHP mayors.

As part of the operations against CHP-run municipalities, several individuals, including the mayors of 5 major districts in Istanbul and Adana, who were detained on Saturday, May 31, were taken from the Istanbul Police Department to Bayrampaşa State Hospital for health checks this morning.
The mayors were subsequently referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan for questioning.
Prosecutorial proceedings for those referred to the courthouse have begun to be completed.
ARREST REQUESTED FOR 30 PEOPLE, INCLUDING 5 MAYORS
The prosecutor's office requested the arrest of 30 people whose proceedings were completed.

JUDICIAL CONTROL FOR 6 PEOPLE
Judicial control was requested for Bektaş Yıldız, Caner Vural, Fahri Aksoy, Fatih Yadoğlu, Ozan İş, and Halil Satı.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the early hours of May 31, another operation targeting the IMM took place. In this operation, referred to as the 5th wave, detention warrants were issued for 47 party members, primarily mayors, and 34 people were taken into custody.
Later, the number of detention warrants rose to 49, and the number of people detained increased to 38.
Among those detained were the mayors of Avcılar, Büyükçekmece, and Gaziosmanpaşa, as well as former CHP MP Aykut Erdoğdu.
