Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced in a post on his social media account that 34 foreign national members of the ISIS terrorist organization were captured in simultaneous operations held in 7 provinces as part of the "KAFES-35" operation carried out across Turkey. Yerlikaya stated that the operation was conducted against suspects who were wanted by Interpol via Red Notice and Diffusion Message.

Stating that the suspects wanted via Red Notice and Diffusion Message were captured in operations carried out in the provinces of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Kayseri, Bursa, Düzce, and Yozgat, Minister Yerlikaya reported that unlicensed pistols, as well as a large amount of foreign currency and digital materials, were seized during the operations.

While congratulating the police teams involved in the operations, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that the Turkish state maintains a resolute stance against terrorism, crime, and threats, stating, "The breath of our state is always on the necks of terrorists and their collaborators, organized crime groups, drug dealers, and criminal hubs, and it will continue to be so."
