36 people arrested in Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu investigation
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that 36 out of 38 individuals detained in connection with the investigation into the helicopter crash that killed Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and his companions have been arrested, while judicial control measures have been imposed on the remaining 2.

In a written statement issued by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: "Under the coordination of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and in line with the efforts conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch regarding the helicopter crash involving the late BBP Chairman Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and his companions; detention warrants were issued for 47 suspects identified as having participated in the crime of 'premeditated murder' within the scope of the activities of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) and having committed various offenses to prevent the truth from coming to light. Search and seizure operations were carried out at 45 different addresses across 16 provinces, with Ankara as the center. It was determined that 10 of the suspects for whom detention warrants were issued were already in prison, and 33 suspects were taken into custody on September 25, 2026. Subsequently, 5 more suspects identified as having committed the aforementioned crimes were also taken into custody."
The statement, which noted that 36 suspects were arrested, continued: "A total of 38 detained suspects were brought before our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and 36 suspects were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest, while 2 suspects were referred with a request for judicial control. Arrest warrants were issued for all suspects referred with a request for arrest, and judicial control measures were imposed on the 2 suspects referred with a request for judicial control. The investigation is being conducted in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner."
