The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that a 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş today at 11:17 AM. It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 12.36 kilometers below the surface and caused brief panic in the region.
Authorities announced that according to initial assessments following the earthquake, there was no loss of life or property. The tremor was also felt mildly in the city center and surrounding districts. AFAD teams are continuing their investigations in the area.
