4.0 magnitude earthquake in Muğla

AFAD has announced that a 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Menteşe district of Muğla. The tremor, which took place at 20:43, was recorded at a depth of 7 kilometers.

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.0 magnitude tremor was recorded with its epicenter in the Menteşe district.

Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık stated in a post on his social media account, "According to information received from the AFAD Presidency, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in our Menteşe district at 20:43. There are no negative reports in our province resulting from the earthquake. Best wishes to all our citizens."
