4.6 magnitude earthquake in Gaziantep

According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.6 magnitude tremor was recorded with its epicenter in the Nurdağı district.

It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.01 kilometers.

In the statement made by AFAD, it was noted that the 4.6 magnitude earthquake, with its epicenter in the Kuzoluk neighborhood of the Nurdağı district, occurred at 00:08 at a depth of 7 kilometers.

The earthquake was felt in Gaziantep, where the epicenter was located, as well as in surrounding provinces and districts.

The earthquake caused brief moments of fear and panic.

It was stated that there are currently no negative reports and that field search and scanning operations are ongoing.
