It has been reported that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea. According to information on the AFAD website, a 4.8 magnitude tremor with its epicenter in the Aegean Sea was recorded at 15:55.

The earthquake was determined to have occurred at a depth of 5.79 kilometers.

Greek authorities had announced emergency measures today (February 2) due to seismic activity on the island of Santorini. As part of the measures taken, schools in Santorini and surrounding islands were closed for tomorrow (February 3), and it was decided to temporarily evacuate certain areas on the island.
