Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir also attended the program held at the Üsküdar District Headquarters.

With the four council members resigning from the CHP and joining the AKP, there are now 23 CHP members and 21 People's Alliance council members in the Üsküdar Municipal Council.

"DUE TO NECESSITY"

Tahsin Usta, who resigned from the CHP and joined the AKP, said, "Four of us council members have resigned from the Republican People's Party and, due to necessity, have joined the AKP in order to provide better service to the people of Üsküdar. May it be auspicious."

Emphasizing that there was no pressure or bargaining involved in the decision-making process, Usta stated, "I would like to specifically state, along with my fellow council members, that we were not under any pressure, we were not under any threat, and we were not involved in any bargaining while making this decision.

Our goal is to serve Üsküdar more effectively, and we believe we can achieve this under this roof.

For this reason, I thank you for accepting us."
