4 commanders released in February 28 'conspiracy' case
Four more commanders, whose sentences were commuted due to 'health problems' by a decision published in the Official Gazette regarding the February 28 'conspiracy' case, have been released.

Among the names whose sentences were commuted by the decision published with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were retired commanders Aydan Erol, Çevik Bir, Çetin Doğan, Fevzi Türkeri, Cevat Özkaynak, Yıldırım Türker, and Erol Özkasnak, who were convicted in the case.
Following the decisions in question, Çetin Doğan, Fevzi Türkeri, Yıldırım Türker, Cevat Temel Özkaynak, and Erol Özkasnak were released from prison.
Çetin Doğan had been hospitalized on March 1 due to health problems, and was discharged from the hospital and sent back to prison on April 22. The 84-year-old Çetin Doğan was released today from the Buca Kırıklar No. 1 F-Type Prison, where he was being held. Doğan was met by his wife Nilgün Doğan, relatives, and friends upon his release from prison.
