4 suspects arrested in Bahar Aksu murder
Four people have been arrested in the investigation into the murder of Bahar Aksu, who was killed in the middle of the street in Istanbul's Şişli district while her ex-husband was attempting to abduct her.

In the incident in Istanbul's Şişli district where Bahar Aksu lost her life after being shot in the middle of the street, Rüstem E. and three other suspects who were taken into custody have been arrested by the court.
The incident occurred on Monday, May 5, on Kasım Orbay Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Şişli. Bahar Aksu lost her life as a result of an armed attack in the middle of the street. During the incident, which was recorded by security cameras, Rüstem E. and three people accompanying him attempted to abduct the young woman. When the attempt failed, Rüstem E. fired his weapon multiple times, taking Aksu's life.
'I BECAME OBSESSED WITH MY EX-WIFE'
Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Homicide Bureau, Bahar Aksu's ex-husband, Rüstem E., who fled after the incident, was caught and taken into custody in Eyüpsultan, while the other three suspects were apprehended in Silivri.
In his initial statement, Rüstem E. claimed that he had developed an obsessive attitude toward his ex-wife, stating, 'We married in 2019. We divorced 3 years later. I could not accept this divorce. I was constantly following her on social media. On the day of the incident, I wanted to talk to her. When she resisted, I lost control,' he said.
