4 terrorists preparing for an attack via paramotor neutralized: Ali Yerlikaya shared the footage

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 4 PKK terrorists, who were preparing for an attack using paramotors in Uludere, Şırnak, have been neutralized.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared information on his social media account that 4 terrorists belonging to the Separatist Terrorist Organization (BTÖ), who were preparing for an attack using paramotors, have been neutralized.

Two aerial vehicles were detected violating the border from Iraq into Turkey in the Düğün Mountain area of the Uludere district of Şırnak by an “AKINCI TİHA” belonging to the Land Forces Command.

Following the detection, the terrorists were engaged by SİHA, J-İHA, and Gendarmerie ATAK attack helicopters.

Under the coordination of the Gendarmerie Public Order Corps Command, the Intelligence Department, and the Counter-Terrorism Department, and as part of the operation launched in the region by the Şırnak Provincial Gendarmerie Command supported by J-İHA and JİKU, a team, a Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH) team, a Gendarmerie Commando team, and a METİ (Mine and Improvised Explosive Device Detection and Disposal) team were dispatched to the area via an air assault operation under the cover of ATAK attack helicopters.

Sharing on his social media account, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 4 terrorists belonging to the Separatist Terrorist Organization (BTÖ), who were preparing for an attack using paramotors, have been neutralized.

Minister Yerlikaya included the following statements:

“I want our dear nation to know that we will not give any of these terrorists a chance to breathe. We will continue our struggle without pause through the superior efforts of our security forces. I congratulate our Land Forces Command and our heroic Gendarmerie who carried out the operation. May God protect them. Our nation's prayers are with you.”
