4,139 individuals wanted for various crimes apprehended

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 4,139 individuals wanted for various crimes were apprehended during the "Cember-23" operations conducted nationwide.

In the "CEMBER-23" operations conducted over the last 1?? week in 8??1?? provinces against "Individuals for whom an Arrest Warrant has been Issued by our Courts for Prison Sentences," 4??.1??3??9?? individuals were apprehended?

The net is tightening for those who have received prison sentences and are wanted by our courts. We will not allow anyone to disturb the peace of our people or make our streets uneasy??

As a result of the operations:

??4??.0??6??0?? individuals who have been wanted for 0-5 years,

??5??1?? individuals who have been wanted for 5-10 years,

??2??8?? individuals who have been wanted for 10 years or more were apprehended.

Of these individuals:

??7??0??0?? were apprehended for theft, ??1??4??0?? for fraud, ??3??6??0?? for robbery, ??5??0?? for murder, ??1??0??6?? for sexual offenses, ??7??2??1?? for narcotics offenses, ??4??9?? for terrorism offenses, ??4??4??8?? for KOM (Smuggling, Organized Crime), and ??1??.5??6??5?? for other crimes, totaling 4??.1??3??9?? individuals apprehended.

The individual named O.H., who had an arrest record entered on October 8, 2024, at 17:42 for a prison sentence of 26 years, 9 months, and 21 days for the crime of Intentional Injury by the Sakarya High Criminal Court Execution Office, was apprehended 1 minute later on the same day at 17:43 by our teams affiliated with the Ordu Provincial Police Department during a road check in the Gülyalı district and was delivered to prison. ?I congratulate our police and gendarmerie who organized the operations.
