Çanakkale Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams apprehended 45 irregular migrants in vehicles with license plates 34 CGZ 096, 10 T 5642, and 17 FU 093 during operations conducted in the coastal areas of Ezine and Ayvacık aimed at preventing migrant smuggling.

During the operations, G.T., S.Ş., and E.E. were taken into custody on allegations of human smuggling.
The irregular migrants were handed over to the Ayvacık Removal Center after their processing was completed. The seized vehicles were taken to a police impound lot.
