46 people had been detained: New development in betting and match-fixing investigation
In the second wave of operations launched regarding the "betting and match-fixing" investigation across 16 provinces centered in Istanbul, a large number of individuals currently in custody, including Murat Sancak and Mert Hakan Yandaş, were brought in for medical check-ups.

In operations carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Cyber Crimes Branch across 16 provinces centered in Istanbul, 38 people—including former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, former referee and football commentator Ahmet Çakar, Fenerbahçe player Mert Hakan Yandaş, Ersen Dikmen, who is alleged to have placed bets on Yandaş's behalf, Galatasaray player Metehan Baltacı, who previously received a ban from football-related activities in a prior betting investigation, and TFF top-class referee Zorbay Küçük—were initially detained and taken to the police station after undergoing medical check-ups.
The 38 individuals in custody were brought to Bayrampaşa State Hospital today.
The suspects, who underwent medical examinations, were subsequently taken to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.
