5.6 magnitude earthquake strikes Colombia

A 5.6 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the southwest of Colombia.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 5 kilometers southeast of the city of Cartago in the southwest of the country. The depth of the earthquake was announced as 60.7 kilometers.

No tsunami warning has been issued so far.
