6 arrested in 'bungalow fraud' operation
As part of an investigation coordinated by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 10 people were detained in an operation targeting suspects identified as defrauding citizens through "bungalow house" advertisements on social media. While 6 of the suspects were arrested, 4 were released under judicial control conditions.

An investigation was launched under the coordination of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into suspects identified as having defrauded numerous people by posting "for sale," "for rent," and "nightly stay" bungalow house advertisements on various social media platforms.
Within the scope of the investigation, a simultaneous operation was conducted on October 14 against a total of 55 people residing in different provinces. 10 suspects were detained during the operations.
6 PEOPLE ARRESTED
Following their procedures at the police station, 10 suspects were referred to the courthouse on charges of "fraud by using information systems, banks, or credit institutions as a tool"; 4 were released with judicial control measures, while 6 were arrested by the Criminal Court of Peace.
On the other hand, it was reported that proceedings are ongoing regarding other suspects who were detained or are currently in prison for other crimes.
