6 of 7 suspects arrested for brutal murder of businessman
In Kocaeli, 6 out of 7 suspects who murdered businessman Nurhan Ör and destroyed his body by dissolving it in acid have been arrested and sent to prison.

Relatives of 56-year-old carpet factory owner Nurhan Ör, who lived in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli, reported the situation to the police after they had not heard from him since November 7. Following the missing person report for Ör, police teams launched a large-scale search. As a result of the police investigation, Nurhan Ör's car was found abandoned and covered in blood in Gebze. While an investigation into the incident was launched, police teams detained 7 suspects.
HIS BODY WAS DISMEMBERED AND DISSOLVED IN ACID
The details that emerged regarding the incident were chilling. It was learned that one of the suspects, I.E., had invited his high school friend Nurhan Ör to an auto gallery located in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul. Upon arriving at the auto gallery, Nurhan Ör was beaten by individuals identified as I.E. (55), A.T. (56), C.A. (56), F.G. (55), E.D. (33), B.T. (29), and N.T. (61). Later, Nurhan Ör was wrapped in a carpet, placed in the trunk of a car, and brought to the Kartepe district of Kocaeli. Ör's body was dismembered and dissolved in acid. It was learned that the suspects I.E., A.T., and C.A. were classmates of Nurhan Ör from their high school years.
THE MURDER WAS PREMEDITATED
It was reported that I.E. had planned the murder and had previously purchased acid and cleaning supplies to clean the area. It was stated that there were commercial relations between Nurhan Ör and I.E., and that the murder was committed due to a money dispute. Detectives from the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department's Homicide Bureau examined 1,000 hours of camera footage. The 7 suspects identified as being involved in the incident were brought to the police station by the tracking police teams. After their procedures at the police station, the 7 suspects were referred to the courthouse.
Meanwhile, the car in which Nurhan Ör arrived in Sultanbeyli and in which his body, wrapped in a carpet, was transported, was filmed in front of the Provincial Police Department.
Following their statements regarding the incident, one of the individuals referred to the courthouse, N.T., was released under judicial control, while the other 6 suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
