6 tons and 112 kilograms of cannabis seized in Narkogüç-38 operation

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, in a post on his social media account on X, stated, "I want our noble nation to know that we will not give any breathing room to drug dealers who poison our youth and our future. CARRIED OUT SIMULTANEOUSLY IN 48 PROVINCES

Stating that the "Narkogüç-38" operation, conducted in 48 provinces against drug dealers, was successfully completed, Minister Yerlikaya provided details regarding the operations: "In the 'Narkogüç-38' operation, which was carried out in 48 provinces including İzmir, Tekirdağ, Gaziantep, Sakarya, Ankara, Konya, İstanbul, Adana, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Kocaeli, Osmaniye, Amasya, Kırıkkale, Antalya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Elazığ, Mersin, Kırklareli, Balıkesir, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir, Kayseri, Manisa, Van, Bitlis, Erzurum, Aksaray, Batman, Düzce, Malatya, Samsun, Bilecik, Yalova, Ordu, Trabzon, Aydın, Denizli, Kastamonu, Van, Kırşehir, Sivas, Muğla, Hakkari, Zonguldak, and Edirne, 6 tons and 112 kg of cannabis, 215 kg of methamphetamine, 64 kg of skunk, 1 long-barreled rifle, and 11 unlicensed pistols were seized. 420 teams, 963 personnel, and 16 narcotics detector dogs participated in the operation," he said.

Yerlikaya added, "I congratulate our heroic police officers in the Narcotics Crimes Combat Branches of our Provincial Security Directorates, our heroic soldiers in the 6th Border Command, and our heroic gendarmerie who carried out the operation.
