63-year-old woman stabbed to death in Eskişehir: Killer turns out to be her closest relative

S.Y., who was identified as having stabbed and killed her aunt Naciye Yılmaztürk in Eskişehir, was apprehended by police and subsequently arrested and sent to prison by the court.

The Public Security Branch teams launched an investigation after receiving a report that a person had been found dead at an address in the Ihlamurkent neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district.

Investigations determined that the deceased person was 63-year-old Naciye Yılmaztürk.

Efforts revealed that the suspect in the incident was 23-year-old S.Y., the daughter of Yılmaztürk's brother.

While the motive for the incident is not yet known, it was determined that S.Y. had stabbed her aunt Naciye Yılmaztürk to death.

Following the processing of the suspect, she was arrested by the court on charges of intentional homicide and sent to prison.
