70 percent pay raise good news from Mansur Yavaş

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that a 70 percent pay raise has been granted to municipal personnel.

Mansur Yavaş stated, "Those who ran their election campaigns with slanders had claimed that 'PKK members will read the water meters.' Today, all of Turkey is witness that those who read the meters and those who deliver the bills are the clean, patriotic children of Ankara."

Furthermore, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that the 70 percent raise was implemented to ensure employees are not crushed by the effects of inflation.
