8 lawyers detained ahead of NATO summit: ASI and CHD targeted
A total of 8 lawyers, including 6 members of the Lawyers' Voice Initiative (ASİ) and 2 members of the Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD), were detained in operations conducted ahead of the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8. ASİ reacted to the detentions and demanded the immediate release of their colleagues.

Ahead of the NATO Summit to be held on July 7-8, 8 lawyers, including 6 members of the Lawyers' Voice Initiative (ASİ) and 2 members of the Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD), have been detained.
This morning, Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD) Istanbul Branch President Lawyer Ezgi Önalan was detained, along with ÇHD member Lawyer Yunus Emre Işık and 6 lawyers who are members of ASİ.

In a post on its official X account, ASİ stated, "We do not accept these unlawful detentions. We are following the process. Release our colleagues immediately!"
